I had severe migraines when I was a teenager and suffered a stroke at age 18. This led to many hospital visits and consultations with doctors. I was diagnosed with an Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) a dime size hole in my heart.
I red-shirted my freshman year in college, while on a swimming scholarship at the University of Utah, in order to have surgery to correct my heart defect.
I am very lucky & happy to be ALIVE.

A mini session is a quick, focused photoshoot designed to capture beautiful moments in a shorter time frame. Perfect for couples, families, or individuals, these sessions typically last 15-30 minutes and are held at a set location with a streamlined approach. Mini sessions are an affordable and efficient way to get high-quality photos for special occasions, seasonal updates, or just because. Many various mini sessions are offered during the year:
Valentine's Day, Easter sessions with live baby chicks/bunnies. Mother's Day, Beach minis, Back to school, Fall and Holiday mini sessions.

After graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in Painting & Drawing, I bought my first film Canon SLR. Not too long after that I upgraded to a digital Canon Rebel. I shot my first wedding in Cincinnati in 2008. Shortly after that NeriPhoto was born. Now I photograph brides and grooms all over the country. I book a limited number of weddings per year to provide my brides and grooms with an outstanding experience. I recently got married and had our daughter Ida.
I love art in any shape, color and size. I love early mornings, marinas and yellow roses. People inspire me.
